Gavin and Jasper

Gavin and Jasper were born to two geeks who apparently spend all their time writing about, taking photos of, and videotaping their kids. This is their photo album, video library, development journal, and daily activity blog.

Time to readjust the monthly budget

posted by Traci at 10:14 PM

This afternoon we visited the brand new LEGO store that opened on Thursday at Crabtree Valley Mall. Oh dear, am I in trouble now! I feel like I should reprioritize our monthly budget to allow the boys frequent visits to this mecca of Danish plastic.

After being enticed by the new farm sets, extensive Duplo selection (Gavin's favorite), and plethora of pick-a-brick choices, we managed to leave with just one item - a big green plate on which Gavin can attach his Duplo bricks. We spent quite a while playing with it when we returned home, constructing a path for the Duplo car and building all sorts of towers. Gavin seems to really enjoy having something to attach his bricks to rather than just joining his bricks together.
