My Boys

posted by Traci at 4:47 PM

I'm watching football with my boys again this afternoon and Burt rested his head on my tummy this time. I kept waiting for the baby boy inside to give him a little punch, but they seemed to enjoy bonding :). My camera was out of reach so I had to take this photo with my phone.

Yesterday was my 29-week checkup and things are perfectly normal, as usual. Baby Boy's heartbeat was measuring between 150-160 bpm. My midwife couldn't get a precise number because he punched the doppler and then kept moving around :). My tummy measured 29 cm, right on track for being 29 weeks along. He's now in a head-down position and she could feel his head below my belly button. I've been feeling and seeing his feet kick on my right side just below my ribs for the past week. I can even feel his feet when I rub that part of my belly - it's so cool! She also confirmed that I passed the glucose test from three weeks ago. The only bad news was that I gained 5 pounds in the past three weeks so I'm up 20 pounds total now. I think I'll quit posting weight updates now ;). My back has been feeling really good for the past few weeks, though, so I'm hoping to be able to exercise more.

I went to Baby Gap again yesterday to return a pair of jeans I bought online and picked up this camo shirt - too cute! His grandpa, the deer hunter, should be pleased :).

First Camo

Dianna said... Now that we know you are right on track for 29 weeks, do we all get to guess again for the poll? I supose the original guesses of early or late stoll hold, though.
