In Episode 16 of Season 9 of the Seinfeld TV series, Jerry teaches George the showmanship technique of "leaving on a high note". After pleasing the crowd, a good performer makes his exit quickly, so as to leave them wanting more. Gavin has been paying attention to our nightly Seinfeld viewing, apparently, as he remembered how to properly end his performance of putting the ball back into the ball popping toy for the first time. He thought he was just playing with the toy his grandparents gave him, but when he put the errant ball back into the chute, the crowd went wild. Our little feller took a quick victory lap around the room and then promptly made his exit, before his stellar act was "buried under a pile of gaffs and bad puns," as George says.
