Cuttin' a Rug

Not being dancers, ourselves, we still wanted our boy to learn some rhythm. Before he could even stand, I tried showing him a few moves. When he first began to dance on his own, Gavin's favorite dance move was subtle bum bouncing. For the last couple of weeks, he has been raising his arms and either walking in wide circles or standing perfectly still (prompting me to nickname that move 'The Stickup'). Tonight he adds spinning to his repertoire. He gets dizzy a couple times, which we all find amusing enough for a giggle. The high-fives are brand new as well. I asked him for a high-five just yesterday, and he responded appropriately.
