Traci and I decided that it was finally time to clue Burt and Doozer in as to the pregnancy and the coming baby. With Traci's growing tummy, and all the new books and baby items coming home, they figured out that something was going on, so we sat them down for a chat and told them all about the birds and the bees. The whole human birth thing went right over their heads ("no, NOT a litter, just ONE, and Mommy is NOT going to hide under the porch when she goes into labor"), but I think we got the message across that no one is allowed on Traci's lap for awhile. While we respect the privacy of their most embarrassing moment, I did sit them down later for an interview , so everyone could hear how Burt and Doozer are taking the news.

Jeff said... The song is "Better Version of You" by Da Vinci's Notebook, a comedic a capella groop (though not always a capella) that's often on the Bob and Tom show (thus the uproarious laughter). The interview just flowed out of our own twisted minds :)
