This morning I heard little Baby's heartbeat for the first time! It was beating at 160 bpm making the cutest little woop, woop, woop sound :). I've known that I'm pregnant for weeks now, but it finally seems real. I look at my belly and can't believe there's a little two inch long person in there!
She also had the results of my blood tests from two weeks ago and everything is perfect. Baby's cystic fibrosis test came back negative as well. I've gained about three pounds so far and I can tell it's all in my belly!
Our next appointment is on July 20th when we'll have an ultrasound and checkup. I can't wait!
Vicki said... Wow! 160 bpm!! This is so exciting!! Now I know why over the last couple of months you were feeling "tired" during handbell practice. I wonder when we play bells if the baby's heart speeds up because they are so enthralled with the music.
