Mr. Constant Motion was up to another busy, exhausting week. I suppose "exhausting" just refers to Mommy and Daddy. Gavin's energy level never diminishes!
- Teeth #5 and #6 are about to make their grand appearance. His next set of bottom teeth should be arriving next, but it looks like he'll be getting another pair of top teeth first!
- Gavin spends a lot of time every day standing and cruising. He stands at his fence, holds on to the laundry basket, hangs onto Mommy or Daddy, leans against the wall beside his changing table during a diaper change...
- Standing all the time inevitably requires bending over to retrieve a toy. He is able to squat to pick something off the floor and stand right back up again.
- We've noticed that Gavin seems to be slimming, which is no wonder after watching him all day - he doesn't stop moving! We won't have weight confirmation until October 1st when he'll visit the pediatrician for his nine-month well baby exam.
Gavin's quartet of teeth will soon be adding new members!
...standing on the recliner...
In other news, autumn has arrived in North Carolina! The weather during our daily morning walks this week has been delightfully brisk. Gavin had to ditch his usual lightweight nightshirt walking wear for a thick long-sleeved shirt with warm pants and socks along with a blanket. We'll have to look for a warm hat soon. His little ears get awfully chilled wearing only a baseball cap!
